Mission Statement
Disciple senior citizens and congregations to respond to Christ’s Great Commandment and Great commission outside their walls.
Vision Statement
Senior Citizens and churches are energetically serving their communities, congregations, and organizations outside the walls, and they are impacting lives and building the Kingdom of Jesus Christ by utilizing their education, years of experience, free time, connections, family relationships, wisdom, resources and their love of Christ.

Overview
Outside the Walls is a movement to inspire and equip senior citizens in Christian congregations to engage in meaningful ministry beyond the walls of their church by focusing on the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). Outside the Walls efforts will challenge senior citizens and congregations to live out their faith through acts of love, service, and outreach to their local communities and the world.
Purpose and Vision
The Great Commandment calls believers to love God and love their neighbors as themselves, while the Great Commission directs followers of Christ to make disciples of all nations. Many senior citizens, churches and organizations prioritize internal ministry, but there is a pressing need to encourage senior citizens, their congregations and organizations to extend their influence outward, engaging in community service, evangelism, and missions work.
Our vision is to see senior citizens and churches actively demonstrating God’s love through practical service and sharing the gospel in their neighborhoods, cities, and beyond. By focusing on these two central biblical mandates, we aim to create a movement of senior citizens, congregations and organizations that are not only growing spiritually within but also having a tangible impact on the world outside.
Goals and Objectives
