Roll Up Your Sleeves

God sends his people, the church, into the world with the message of love, forgiveness, and hope in Jesus Christ. Outside the Walls’ purpose is to encourage and assist each other to serve outside the church buildings and by serving, honor our Lord and share the hope we have in Jesus.  It is estimated there are upwards of 100 million unchurched or unbelievers in America today, and that number seems to rise each year. God’s purpose is sending His people into harvest fields where there is an abundance of unbelievers. Jesus said in Matt. 9:37-38 “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” 

The first word in the Great Commission is “GO” and reflects Jesus’ urgent concern for everyone who, as yet, does not believe in Him, so they too will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus. Outside the Wall encourages us to roll up our sleeves and be ready to go outside the walls of the church to serve.
